Can anyone tell me the date of the Marion Brown/Jodi Braxton poster that is illustrated? It is dated Sept. 23rd, with no year and was at the East Quad Aud., Ann Arbor, MI.

I'm afraid I don't have the year -- Braxton was working in Michigan from 1976 through 1979, so it may be during that span. You might try emailing her at the College of William and Mary English Department to get the exact year.
Is this recording of her reading still available anywhere?

It's funny, because a poet-friend in Lahore just sent me a track with her reading about a boy killed by one of Obama's drones with sax and piano in the background, and it reminded me of Braxton and Brown--I wanted to see if I could find to send to the friend. . . this popped up immediately! Thanks.
