The editors of the on-line Jacket 2 have asked me to contribute a column that will run over the next few months. The column, "Reconceptual," will address issues of race and writing, but will take up other issues as well. The first several postings are already up and I hope followers of Heat Strings will navigate over to the site and follow those columns too.
